Answer: NO, companies can register for free but must purchase an advertising plan before they can begin uploading their promotional videos and or banner advertisments. During marketing campaigns FVN may offer promotional codes for a limited number of complimentary listings. If you have a valid promotional code you can upload your promotional video or banner at no charge.

Question 5: How does the Flat World search work?
Answer: If you mouse over the flat world you will see that it glows as you move over different regions. If you click any region it will open to the specific countries found in that regions, If you then click on a specific country it will then pull up any videos on our site that are found from that country. If you mouse over and click the USA it will provide all the states, which you can then select the state your want to view videos from, click that state and enjoy the videos found.
Question 5: What is the Fishihng Video Network?
Answer: FVN is a website dedicated to promoting both amateur and professional sport fishing as well as support those companies that work hard to make the sport fishing industry as great as it is. Its a destination site where you can upload your personal fishing videos and or watch fishing videos others have uploaded. You can see fishing videos from all over the world or those from your home state. You can watch promotional videos from companies that have the product or service you would like to buy. When the weather is not with you and fishing is out of the question the next best thing is to tune into The Fishing Video Network, pick your fishing favorites, sit back, relax and enjoy yourself.
Question 6: How does the advanced search work?
Answer: When you click the advanced search button you will find a User Search screen and a Promotional Search screen. On the User side you can search by the publishers User name, Country/Region, then by specific state, Province or Territory. You can also search by Tags, these are words or phrases that describe the video type you are searching for. The Promotional search screen allows you to search by specific company, brand name or by Tags.
Question 7: How does the search function work?
Answer: Just type in a word or phrase that describes the video type your interested in finding. You will see all the videos that were listed using the same search word or phrase.

Question 1: Is the personal and company information I provide for registration safe?
Answer: All information provided is stored on third party secure servers. The personal and company information required for registration is of a general nature that is alreadyy available through many sources on the internet. We do not require any financial or other sensitive information to register your company
Question 2: Do I have to provide any financial information to participate and if I do how is this sensitive information secure?
Answer: When you register your company you will not be required to provide any financial information, our registration requirements are of a more general nature. However, If you decide to purchase a video listing or banner ad from us then your entire transaction will be processed directly by PayPal through their own secure website. THe Fishing Video Network does not participate in your transaction except to provide you with pricing and once PayPal has approved your purchase we provide the time slot.
Question 3: Will you give any of my personal and or company information to any other companies to use?
Answer: Our policy is not to provide any of our registrants information to any third parties.

Answer: Promotional accounts can delete all videos but not delete or change any personal or company registration information.

Answer: Any and all information provided by you for registration purposes is maintained by the Fishing Video Network website on third party secure servers. All information is maintained for the benefit of the Fishing Video Network,for contact purposes when necessary, to update registrants of any changes made to the site,or to update registrants account, or for any other purpose deemed warranted by the site.

Answer: The only cookie being used is to capture your login information providing you with the option to select automatic re-login to the website.

Answer: All transactions conducted on our website will be processed by third party companies who provide secure servers to insure your financial information will be secure. Currently our website has secured the services of PayPal to process all transactions. Our website does not collect or store any of your financial information. Answer: No, Promotional videos can be uploaded for a fee, see our advertising plan matrix, hyperlink found in out Terms and Conditions as well as on the upload page. All your non commercial fishing videos can be uploaded for free once you have registered under the User Registration.
Question 3: Is there a restriction on the video time length?

Videos are automatically edited on the back end so if you dont want to upload only part of your video we suggest that you edit your video to meet our time specs.

Answer: No, all you have to do is register,wait for approval, then login to your account, select your advertising plan, browse your computer for your video file and then upload your video.
Question 5: How do I upload my promotional videos?
Answer: All you have to do is register,wait for email approval, then access the site, login to your account, select and pay for your advertising plan, then browse your computer for your video file and then upload your video.

Answer: Only as long as the advertising plan you have selected and paid for.

Answer: Yes, you can delete some or all of your promotional videos at any time.However there will be no refunds or prorating for unused time if you delete any of your promotional video before your purchased advertising plan expires.

Answer: 200 megabits, actual video run time will vary depending on your files format but will never exceed 5 minutes in length. Videos uploaded that exceed our maiximum run time will automatically be cut to 5 minutes, so we recommend that you edit your video to meet our specs before uploading it.

Question 1: How do I upload a banner ad?
Answer: After your registration has ben approved, login to the site, click the "My Account" button, select your preferred advertising plan, process the transaction, go back to "My Account" select banner upload, browse your computer to find your banner ad (must be a JPG, GIF etc file),click upload and thats it.
Question 2: What is the maximum size of the banner ad allowed?
Answer: Banner ads cannot exceed 120 pixels in length and 180 pixels in height, ratio 1x1.5. Banners that exceed this size will automatically be reduced in size to fit our specifications. Banners that are smaller can be uploaded but may not provide you with the best quality advertisement, if this is the case we suggest you resize your banner so that it meets our specifications.
Question 3: What if my banner ad is larger then allowed?
Answer: If its larger then our specifications allow your banner will automatically be reduced in size to meet our specs. The larger your original banner ad the smaller your banner details will be. So that you banner details are not drastically reduced we suggest that you resize your banner to meet our specs.
Question 4: Do you provide instructions concerning how to upload banner ads?
Answer: Yes, there is a short tutorial provided on the banner ad upload page.
Question 5: Will I need special software to design a banner ad for uploading?
Answer: Yes, If you do not already have a banner ad designed(JPG, GIF etc format) you will need an image editing program to design your banner ad. We provide a link to a good image program found on the banner upload page.
Question 6: What if the banner ad I have is smaller then the recommended size?
Answer: You can upload a banner smaller then the recommended size 120 pixels wide x 180 pixels High, however uploading a smaller banner may adversely affect your banner ad appearance. To maximize your advertising results we suggest you size your banner to our specs.
Question 7: What if the banner advertising plan I prefer is not available?
Answer: Our advertising plan matrix will only display those plans that are available. In the event a plan is sold out you will be able to submit your email address to be automtically notified when the plan your prefer is available.
